OUR PASSION FOR THE TERROIR

Our family has been working the vines for over 4 centuries in the Marne Valley. So it's only logical that we have set down roots in the Festigny countryside to perpetuate a family winegrowing heritage with passion and dedication for 5 generations. What began with a few ares of vines now extends to around 12 hectares, carefully spread over the sunny hillsides of Festigny, Leuvrigny and Oeuilly, three communes with a rich wine-growing heritage.

Situated on the left bank of the Marne Valley, our plots benefit from different exposures, offering a microclimate conducive to optimal ripening of our grapes. The unique influence of each terroir is reflected in our cuvées, where the clay-limestone and marl soils bring a distinctive complexity and richness to our champagnes.

By virtue of this unique mosaic of micro-terroirs, we work in harmony with our vines. To perpetuate the work of our forebears and continue to enrich the land for future generations, we have chosen sustainable viticulture in favour of the environment and biodiversity. The result is that we have been awarded the High Environmental Value (HVE) label.

Each year, our harvests are guided by the subtleties of each plot, influenced by the terroir, the climate and the expertise of our winemaking know-how. This meticulous approach enables us to create rich blends that capture the very essence of our vineyards and our originality.

From our festive champagnes to celebrate life's special occasions, to our more intimate cuvées, our Vintages and our Rosé, our range embodies the diversity and richness of our terroir, meeting the expectations of the most demanding wine-lovers. At Gaudinat-Boivin House, every plot, every grape, every bottle is the symbol of our genuine commitment to the land and its fruit, bearing witness to our history and our attachment to our roots.
